The traditional black beret, made in the Béarn by Blanq-Olibet. The berets are first made of knitted wool that is then waked, which means it was beaten in hot water to give it this felt aspect. The grey béret was immortalized in the Bonnie and Clyde movie by Arthur Penn where it became cult when paired with the charms of Fey Dunaway.
